The Challenge
The existing setup used a script-based lead capture form from Sell.Do (via CDN). While functional, it caused multiple critical issues:
No control over form styling or native behavior
Lack of campaign source tracking and attribution
Google Enhanced Conversion (EC) could not index the lead data, breaking ad-level performance measurement
Any change in the frontend stack affected other modules like GTM
When we switched to a native HTML form and began pushing data to:
Sell.Do API (via direct submission)
Google Tag Manager
Google Enhanced Conversion (via JS)
We faced new issues:
Sell.Do captured leads but missed attribution & user tracking
Google EC couldn’t read JS variables reliably as DOM renders late
Switching to PHP broke compatibility with GTM and JS-based plugins
The Turning Point
We worked closely with Google engineers, the Sell.Do team, and JRC's internal stakeholders — attending multiple technical calls to diagnose and align on a working solution.
After weeks of prototyping, we arrived at a hybrid architecture:
Retained all JavaScript-based modules (Sell.Do plugins, GTM, etc.)
Built a custom bridge from JavaScript to PHP
PHP rendered data directly into HTML for Google EC to index (before DOM load)
Avoided renaming

so GTM compatibility remained intact
The Result
✅ Google Enhanced Conversions successfully started indexing lead data
✅ Sell.Do attribution & tracking restored via new plugin
✅ Google Tag Manager continued to function without disruption
✅ No stack change required — minimal disturbance to existing infrastructure
✅ Fully native form control retained on frontend
✅ All dashboards aligned and reporting correctly
Outcome
This was a technically complex integration involving cross-platform communication, third-party coordination, and deep debugging. It’s a perfect example of Init Lync’s ability to engineer solutions at the intersection of marketing, technology, and user experience.
